Prayer of the Week

Hello :) Morning everyone :) Today is the first day back in school for many people :) I never thought I would say this but, I am excited for this year's classes! More excited to see what God has in store for me.

Have you ever been so excited about something and you stop to think, man I hope I continue being this excited, I hope it doesn't fade away. Praise God, right now am on such a spiritual high I want it to not fade in fact I want it to grow!!!

Prayer of the Week: Pray this week that we will always have that first love for God. The Love that is always on fire for God, the one that we felt the first time we knew His love in our lives, that first excitement and passion to love and serve Him for the rest of our lives. In fact let us pray this week for fire that never dies, fire for Him!

"Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first." Revelation 2:4

When the Music Stops...

Hey Friends, I am trying to honour my commitment to make at least one blog post a month, so here goes July. That being said, please know that I am not posting for the sake of posting. I am trying to cultivate an active listening skill when it comes to each topic I share i.e. I will not post until I am convinced I heard from my heavenly daddy. I hope this is one speaks to you. :) When the Music Stops... This marks the first time I talk about my hubby-to-be on this blog. This man is a Gem! He is a true worshipper, a man after God's heart. He also happens to be an anointed worship leader :) I am not saying that because I love him, I promise. The reason I bring him up though is because one of the very many conversations we have had about music is a good illustration to the point I will make later in this post.
