Crossover!!!

It is a New Year, wow 2013!!! It feels like just yesterday we screamed hurray New Year, 2012, but another year has come and gone! What better time to talk about crossing over. As 2012 passed and we stepped in to 2013 we have had many things happen in our lives, some we would like to work on and improve and other things we promised our selves “never again!” For most students, specially those nearing graduation we have not only entered a new year but a new term full of important choices that need to made, most of which are time sensitive. As we Physically crossover from year to year we usually make a list of things we want to accomplish this year and right on top of the list “New Year’s Resolutions”. We plan for things of this world, we work hard and do all those things for our flesh, what about our soul? What  about things in the spiritual realm?

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24.  Now in the spiritual side of things, we are called to crossover from death to life, from dyeing to living! Yes, we always put this sorts of things off to when we are older or when we have lived a little. Do you know death can come when we aren’t ready to go to heaven, death can catch up to us when we are still in sin!  Even the second coming of Christ is said to come like a thief in the night, meaning we wouldn’t know when He will be coming back. So is it not better to always be prepared and live for God while you wait?? I know what you are thinking because lots of young people ask me this, “What a about living a little, what about having fun?” Living for God does not mean sitting in one corner on your own! Did you know that, “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. So what kind of life are you talking about? He is the life the truth and the light. People think when you live for God you don’t have fun, which is not the case, when you live for God your definition of fun might be adjusted but you still enjoy life! Most of all you have peace that surpasses all understanding and eternal life, well that is a plus too!!

Notes:
  • This Year is your year for a spiritual cross over, from death to life
  • Know that living for Him is much more satisfying than temporary happiness

  Stay Blessed<3

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Spirit of Python: Teaching Angels to Worship

When you are going to hell/trails and you worship is when you can teach the Angels to Worship :) 1) God is Spirit : the Spirit is looking for people who will worship Him in truth and In spirit. *In Truth: the right truth (Jesus : see John 14:6) * In Spirit: even during trails we need to be in the spirit of Joy, Faith, Hope and Love "God is spirit,  and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 2) God can make something out of nothing : before God spoke the world into motion it was nothing. He took what was nothing made it into something. He also hung it on nothing, there is nothing that holds the universe in place! “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?      Tell me, if you understand." Job 38:4 How and when can we teach worship to the Angels? Angels Vs. Us Angels 1) Angels have never been nor will they ever be under the course of sin 2) They live in a perfect place (Heaven) 3) The fir...

Just Jaded!

I hope you and your loved ones are safe in these crazy times. If any tragedy has come to your home, I pray God's peace and love envelops you right where you are. I pray that you rely on His unending love, mercy, grace, and strength in this time of hardship... I am, like most people, feeling very jaded. I have experienced more highs and lows in such intense frequencies now than any other time I can remember. I believe this is why the Lord has me sharing this... I had planned to write about loving people and what it looks like in different seasons. However, I felt a nudge that I should be sharing about the hope I have despite feeling jaded. To make sure we are on the same page about what I mean when I say jaded, here are two definitions from Merriam Webster's dictionary:  1: fatigued by overwork: EXHAUSTED  2: made dull, apathetic, or cynical by experience or by having or seeing too much of something I can identify with both definitions. In this season, I fin...

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: The Power of Doing More than Expected

Even Jesus went a little farther...He did more than expected! Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39 1) Jacob was working for his unfair father-in-law...and still did more than expected   Genesis 29 Jacob was tricked by his father-in-law Laban. But he never sinned against Laban and he always did more than what was expected from him! 2) Who did Jacob learn it from..doing more than expected? From his mother Rebekah "17  The servant hurried to meet her and said, “Please give me a little water from your jar.” 18  “Drink, my lord,” she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink. 19  After she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have had enough to drink.” 20  So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the we...
