Good afternoon everyone :) How is your Tuesday going? For those who had a long weekend, how does it feel to be back to work/school? Hang in there :) Do you guys catch yourselves complaining a lot? Do you complain about having to work all week and forget that its through those paychecks you pay your bills? Do you forget you got to where you are through God's grace and complain about the place not looking like you thought it would? How easy is it to complain? How hard is it to just be thankful? Challenge of the Week: Let us try and make this week complaint free. I challenge you and I to learn to be thankful. I challenge both you and I to think of something we are thankful for when we are on the verge of complaining. That way instead of complaints, God gets the praise and thanks He deserves. Having been in school for most of my life (since I was 3), I have either caught myself or seen others do the 3 types of learning/studying I am going to discuss. The first type is learning for the sake of passing a national examination. I don’t know if you know how that is like. It is pretty much reading/memorizing 2 years worth of stuff to pour it all out on one test paper. It is the type of learning done just for the sake of passing or doing well on an exam.  The second type is when you are learning because you are so passionate about it. It is when you are learning for the purpose of knowing not just for passing an exam. Btw learning for the sake of knowing will definitely get you great results let alone just passing.  The second will take you a longer way than the first type when it comes to higher education. You can't win a battle if you can't discern your enemy You know you are under a spiritual attack if you  1)  Lack spiritual desire. You will lack desire to be intimate with God.. When normally you can't even go by without speaking to God. Psalms 42:1-2 2)  Feel physical and emotional  tiredness (not always). The attack is expected when you are about to get a promotion (not necessarily work related promotion) or after a big victory. The body is a vehicle the spirit uses to do its work so the devil will try to destroy it hence physical and emotional exhaustion. It was sometime in the summer, I remember waking up and panicking. I had seen a dream and it  wasn't  to be taken lightly.  Before I tell you about my dream let me tell you that I take dreams very seriously. It was after one of my very close friends told me about sources and interpretation of dreams that I started taking my dreams seriously.  Dreams have 3 sources: 1) God 2) the devil and 3) daily experiences or our thoughts coming in to play in form of dreams.  Now do you see why I take them seriously?                                                 “And afterward,      I will pour out my Spirit   on all people. Mine is going great Praise God :) After reading a passage in the bible..may be the part where Jesus Healed the sick or Raised the dead..what if we full-heatedly believed He is able? What if we believe all the miracles of that time can happen today? What if we have faith as small as a mustard seed how many things would change in our lives? Challenge of the Week : This week I challenge you and I to take God at His word! I challenge you and I to strengthen our faith by reading His word again and again. I challenge you and I to remember that the same God that did all the miracles then is the same God now. I challenge you and I to grow in our confidence in Him! The truth is He is able and He is to be trusted! He has never failed us before and He won't start now! "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. " Romans 10 :17
