GIGO

One of the things that stuck with me after a first year programming course was the term GIGO. The term stands for Garbage In Garbage out. This is how wiki put it.. Garbage in, garbage out  ( GIGO ) in the field of  computer science  or  information and communications technology  refers to the fact that  computers , since they operate by logical processes, will unquestioningly process unintended, even nonsensical, input data ("garbage in") and produce undesired, often nonsensical, output ("garbage out").   I believe our souls and our minds work in similar patterns. You see if you feed your souls things of God your spirit births things of God. The soul is an easily influenced entity. Once our souls gets used to feeding on God's Word it will cause us to have a  growing  desire in our spirits to pray, to know Him more, to just be a man/woman after His heart. We can understand from Psalms 103:2, " Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits--&

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin : Grace, Grace

Grace, Grace!! "6  Then he said to me, “This is the word of the  Lord  to  Zerubbabel saying, ‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My  Spirit,’ says the  Lord  of hosts.   7  ‘What are you, O great  mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with  shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” 8  Also the word of the  Lord  came to me, saying,   9  “The hands of Zerubbabel have  laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will  finish it. Then you will know that the  Lord  of hosts has sent me to you.   10  For who has despised the day of  small things? But these  seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the  eyes of the  Lord  which  range to and fro throughout the earth." Zechariah 4:6-10 Four kinds of Grace  1) Saving Grace: You don't get good to get God, you get God to get good "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yours

Prayer of the Week!

Hello everyone how have you been? I have been great praise God! Have you been hit by a wave of doubt? Has that one tiny thing taken over your entire train of thought? Have you given doubt power over your faith? Do you know doubt is not from God? Did you know doubt is the biggest enemy of your peace and growth of your faith? Prayer of the Week: This week pray for all doubt to be removed. This week pray for God to reveal to you the root of your doubt. Pray that God helps you rid yourself of doubt.  Pray that God helps you recognize that doubt is not from Him. Understand that doubt inhibits the growth of your faith. "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."James 1:6 "And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into th

You can trade in the goat (sin) for the Holy Lamb (Jesus Christ)! “Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. I Samuel 10:3 Goats: Sin and consequences of sin Loaves of Bread : Body of Jesus Christ ( See: Matthew 26:26 and Luke 22:19 ) Skin of Wine : Blood of Jesus Christ (See: Matthew 26:27 and Luke 22:20 ) The three goats 1) Goat of Deception : Jacob deceived his own father 6  Rebekah said to her son Jacob,  “Look, I overheard your father say to your brother Esau,   7  ‘Bring me some game and prepare me some tasty food to eat, so that I may give you my blessing in the presence of the  Lord  before I die.’ 8  Now, my son, listen carefully and do what I tell you:   9  Go out to the flock and bring me two choice young goats,  so I can prepare some tasty food f

Challenge of the Week!

Good evening everyone :) How was your day? Mine was one of those days that feet like two days worth of stuff jammed in to one! But, I thank God it was pleasant :) Have you been in a place where trails have been an order of the day for you that you have become numb to them? Have you ever thought of trials in a positive light? Have you ever considered the fact that trials are one of the few times in our lives when we feel we can't control things? Shouldn't we take advantage of the fact that we admit we can't control things and pass it over to, the One who can, God? Shouldn't we take advantage of the times when we truly and fully surrender things to God because we know we lack control? Challenge of the Week: This week I challenge you to utilize the time of trial for your personal growth. Use the time of trail to grow closer to God. Use those times to draw nearer to Him with adoration and admiration. I challenge you to use these times to depend on God with all you got. I

Hello everyone :) Hope your Monday was great (It's past midnight and probably already Tuesday in some places...hence 'was') :) Mine was great praise God! Have you ever tried food without salt? If you like salty stuff then that would be the worst thing for you. But imagine adding salt to your food and the flavor isn't changing, would you keep adding it? How similar is a salt that lost its saltiness to a Christian who isn't led by the Holy Spirit? A Christian who has lost his/her purpose in life is like a salt that doesn't taste like salt! Prayer of the Week : This week pray that God reminds you of your purpose in this world. This week Pray that you take your purpose seriously. This week ask God to be the one who helps you maintain your purpose. This week Pray that you will allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in to all truth!
