Prayer of the week

Morning everyone :)

Today is my first day back in school and I am anticipating a hectic term but I know my heavenly father got it all figured out! Like me it might be your first day back in school, or work or may be this year you are starting fresh at a new school.Which brings me to the point of this post :)

We are told to be lights of the world and by doing good works to bring glory to the author of salvation in Matthew 5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Prayer of this week:

* Pray that God uses you as the light He has created you to be
* Pray for boldness, to speak about God without the fear of persecution 
* For God to give you peace and an environment you enjoy

He is a Better Planner!

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post... I have said before that I am a recovering perfectionist. Today, I stand before you confirming that statement still rings true in my life.
