Prayer of the Week!

Hello everyone :) Happy Easter Monday! :) God is so good! Easter is the time when we are reminded of the extent of the father's love! A beautifully perfect man, Jesus Christ, bore my imperfections on that cross! How much more love can one receive? What greater love is there? Non compares to that!

One of Jesus's disciples pulled out a sword and struck a soldier. He cut the soldier's ear off! That is the most human thing to do! The ways of the flesh demands that you fight for everything. He fought to defend, or so he thought, Jesus. Jesus said simple yet proud words of disapproval!

Prayer of the Week: This week let us pray to be able to fight in the spirit more than the flesh. As Christians, our faith in God accomplishes things more than our fleshly fights. Pray this week to become the better reflection of Christ's teaching. Pray that you will learn to numb your fleshly reflexes. Pray that your urges to strike back when hit, to hurt back when you have been hurt dies down. Pray that you learn to accept people as people, as beautifully flawed creatures. Pray that people's imperfections won't stop you from seeing God's perfection!

52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”
