Challenge of the Week!

Good afternoon everyone :) How is your Tuesday going? For those who had a long weekend, how does it feel to be back to work/school? Hang in there :)

Do you guys catch yourselves complaining a lot? Do you complain about having to work all week and forget that its through those paychecks you pay your bills? Do you forget you got to where you are through God's grace and complain about the place not looking like you thought it would? How easy is it to complain? How hard is it to just be thankful?

Challenge of the Week: Let us try and make this week complaint free. I challenge you and I to learn to be thankful. I challenge both you and I to think of something we are thankful for when we are on the verge of complaining. That way instead of complaints, God gets the praise and thanks He deserves. Let us think of the less fortunate before we complain about not being able to afford a Michael Kors watch or a Gucci hand bag.

"Do everything without grumbling or arguing" Philippians 2:14

He took what was nothing made it into something. He also hung it on nothing, there is nothing that holds the universe in place! “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?      Tell me, if you understand." Job 38:4 How and when can we teach worship to the Angels? Angels Vs. Us Angels 1) Angels have never been nor will they ever be under the course of sin 2) They live in a perfect place (Heaven) 3) The fir...

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post... I have said before that I am a recovering perfectionist. Today, I stand before you confirming that statement still rings true in my life. I confess, somedays, I face some battles as if I had never before and get frustrated because I haven't gotten perfect at not being a perfectionist! You see the irony...   Tracing back where my want/need to be perfectionist came from, I was surprised to find out that it was linked to ...
