Sermon by Jentezen Franklin : Spirit of Python

When you read the bible you are breathing in and when you pray you are breathing out. To properly breath you need to breath in and out. 


1) Spiritual battles are very real

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:12

2) The devil wants to be left alone to do his work

"In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, 34 “Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” Luke 4:33-34

Python is a type of serpent that kills not by its venom but by squeezing the life out of its victims. 
Breath: Biblically speaking is the Holy spirit. The enemy (python) chokes its victims until they can't breath.

What the spirit of python hates : how he plans to kill

1)The enemy hates prayers : he wants you to worry instead of praying and giving all your worries to God
2) The enemy will constrict you: he will try to limit your hopes and dreams
3) The enemy hates when you praise God : the spirit will be broken when you praise God

When you are under spiritual attack

1) You will lose spiritual desire : you won't want to read your bible, pray or sing songs of praise
2) You will pull away from Godly relationships

Just Jaded!

I hope you and your loved ones are safe in these crazy times. If any tragedy has come to your home, I pray God's peace and love envelops you right where you are. I pray that you rely on His unending love, mercy, grace, and strength in this time of hardship... I am, like most people, feeling very jaded. I have experienced more highs and lows in such intense frequencies now than any other time I can remember. I believe this is why the Lord has me sharing this... I had planned to write about loving people and what it looks like in different seasons. However, I felt a nudge that I should be sharing about the hope I have despite feeling jaded.
