God can work a Miracle in the midst of Madness!


 1) You can't have a victory without a battle : The victory for the Israelites came after seven years of oppression 

 "The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and for seven years he gave them into the hands of the Midianites." Judges 6:1

 2) The devil tries to destroy and discourage us when our harvest is on the way : The devil can't stop the harvest but he can try to discourage us and make sure we aren't there when the harvest is ready

 "Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short." Revelations 12:12

 3) There is power in prayer: There is power in taking your worries, discouragement, sadness and changing it to prayer

 "Midian so impoverished the Israelites that they cried out to the LORD for help." Judges 6:6

 See it then Say it! Say it in form of praise and worship. Then in Jesus name Seize it!

He is a Better Planner!

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post... I have said before that I am a recovering perfectionist. Today, I stand before you confirming that statement still rings true in my life. I confess, somedays, I face some battles as if I had never before and get frustrated because I haven't gotten perfect at not being a perfectionist!
