Challenge of the Week!

Hello everyone :) This is an unusual time to post on my blog (1:30 am ) but better late than never eh :)....CLEARLY THAT WAS A DRAFT FROM THE OTHER NIGHT  :D I MIGHT HAVE DOZED OFF AFTER THAT SENTENCE CONSIDERING THE TIME...

I hope you are doing great today! Sorry for the late post :/ But it's my day off today so you will be flooded with posts! I mean it! :)

Have you ever tried to help a person and they responded in a most unexpected way? What was your natural response? Did you try to explain to the person that you were only trying to help? You see the devil sometimes perverts our good deeds and so they aren't received well. It could be the person had a horrible day and was expecting another bad thing and misunderstood your words. It could be that person isn't used to people helping them. It could be so many things!

Challenge of the Week: This week I challenge you to not grow weary in doing good! Even if a person you tried to help thought you were doing otherwise and reacted horribly to that, don't let that stop you from trying to help the next person! I challenge you to respond as kindly and as positively as you can to that person or people. I challenge you to think like Christ ('Forgive them for they don't know what they are doing'). I challenge you to carry on the good works in Christ!

"But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good." 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Stay Blessed<3

Just Jaded!

I hope you and your loved ones are safe in these crazy times. If any tragedy has come to your home, I pray God's peace and love envelops you right where you are. I pray that you rely on His unending love, mercy, grace, and strength in this time of hardship... I am, like most people, feeling very jaded. I have experienced more highs and lows in such intense frequencies now than any other time I can remember. I believe this is why the Lord has me sharing this... I had planned to write about loving people and what it looks like in different seasons. However, I felt a nudge that I should be sharing about the hope I have despite feeling jaded. To make sure we are on the same page about what I mean when I say jaded, here are two definitions from Merriam Webster's dictionary:  1: fatigued by overwork: EXHAUSTED  2: made dull, apathetic, or cynical by experience or by having or seeing too much of something I can identify with both definitions. In this season, I fin...

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Spirit of Python: Teaching Angels to Worship

When you are going to hell/trails and you worship is when you can teach the Angels to Worship :) 1) God is Spirit : the Spirit is looking for people who will worship Him in truth and In spirit. *In Truth: the right truth (Jesus : see John 14:6) * In Spirit: even during trails we need to be in the spirit of Joy, Faith, Hope and Love "God is spirit,  and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 2) God can make something out of nothing : before God spoke the world into motion it was nothing. He took what was nothing made it into something. He also hung it on nothing, there is nothing that holds the universe in place! “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?      Tell me, if you understand." Job 38:4 How and when can we teach worship to the Angels? Angels Vs. Us Angels 1) Angels have never been nor will they ever be under the course of sin 2) They live in a perfect place (Heaven) 3) The fir...

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Three Goats

You can trade in the goat (sin) for the Holy Lamb (Jesus Christ)! “Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. Three men going up to worship God at Bethel  will meet you there. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves of bread, and another a skin of wine." I Samuel 10:3 Goats: Sin and consequences of sin Loaves of Bread : Body of Jesus Christ ( See: Matthew 26:26 and Luke 22:19 ) Skin of Wine : Blood of Jesus Christ (See: Matthew 26:27 and Luke 22:20 ) The three goats 1) Goat of Deception : Jacob deceived his own father 6  Rebekah said to her son Jacob,  “Look, I overheard your father say to your brother Esau,   7  ‘Bring me some game and prepare me some tasty food to eat, so that I may give you my blessing in the presence of the  Lord  before I die.’ 8  Now, my son, listen carefully and do what I tell you:   9  Go out to the flock and bring me two choice youn...
