Challenge of the Week!

Hello peeps :) How is it going? My day is going great praise God! I hope yours is going great too!

Are you one of those people who have felt God's presence and seen God's hand in your life in an undeniable way? Do you still doubt? Do you still feel alone when one tiny thing goes wrong? Do you still struggle with trusting God? Don't worry it's not just you, but let us figure out a way to end this once and for all!

Challenge of the Week: This week let us challenge our selves to remember God's goodness. Let us remember God has done amazing things in our lives. Let us remember that we have not only heard saying He is good but we have experienced His goodness too! Let us also know there are times we don't hear from God as often as we used to. But, we need to know that it is not His way of punishing us but teaching us. Just as a parent puts his/her kid in 'timeout' to think of things they did wrong, may be God is giving us time to think about our mistakes and to think of ways to better our selves. Everything He does or doesn't do in our lives is never to hurt us (See Jeremiah 29:11) but to prepare us for something better. Please read the book of Exodus to see exactly what I mean!

"1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
    all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
    and forget not all his benefits—

3 who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,

4 who redeems your life from the pit
    and crowns you with love and compassion,

5 who satisfies your desires with good things
    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The Lord works righteousness
    and justice for all the oppressed.

7 He made known his ways to Moses,
    his deeds to the people of Israel:

8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
    slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse,
    nor will he harbor his anger forever;

10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
    or repay us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his love for those who fear him;

12 as far as the east is from the west,
    so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
    so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

14 for he knows how we are formed,
    he remembers that we are dust.

15 The life of mortals is like grass,
    they flourish like a flower of the field;

16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
    and its place remembers it no more.

17 But from everlasting to everlasting
    the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
    and his righteousness with their children’s children

18 with those who keep his covenant
    and remember to obey his precepts. " Psalms 103:1-18

Stay Blessed<3

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Spirit of Python: Teaching Angels to Worship

When you are going to hell/trails and you worship is when you can teach the Angels to Worship :) 1) God is Spirit : the Spirit is looking for people who will worship Him in truth and In spirit. *In Truth: the right truth (Jesus : see John 14:6) * In Spirit: even during trails we need to be in the spirit of Joy, Faith, Hope and Love "God is spirit,  and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 2) God can make something out of nothing : before God spoke the world into motion it was nothing. He took what was nothing made it into something. He also hung it on nothing, there is nothing that holds the universe in place! “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?      Tell me, if you understand." Job 38:4 How and when can we teach worship to the Angels? Angels Vs. Us Angels 1) Angels have never been nor will they ever be under the course of sin 2) They live in a perfect place (Heaven) 3) The fir...

He is a Better Planner!

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post... I have said before that I am a recovering perfectionist. Today, I stand before you confirming that statement still rings true in my life. I confess, somedays, I face some battles as if I had never before and get frustrated because I haven't gotten perfect at not being a perfectionist! You see the irony...   Tracing back where my want/need to be perfectionist came from, I was surprised to find out that it was linked to ...
