Challenge of the Week

Happy Tuesday everyone :) How is you day going so far? mine is great Praise God!


Do you have something in your life that is taking away your peace of mind? Has it been bugging you for a while now? Do you know the source of this unrest within you? What have you done about it?

Challenge of the week: This week I challenge you to find the source of the unrest in your lives, I challenge you to dig deep and deeper until you find it! When you do, I challenge you to give it up to Jesus! Recognize that He is source of all peace because He is the prince of peace! Recognize that He wants you to bring your heavy burden and live it at the foot of the cross while picking up His Yoke. His yoke though, is so much easier to carry and is filled with peace!

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:29

He is a Better Planner!

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post...
