Prayer of the Week!

Good evening everyone :) How was your Monday? Mine was great Praise God! Saw His grace throughout the day!

Have you ever focused on Christ's death so much that you forgot that He has risen? Have you ever thought of all of Jobs trails so much but forgot that all was multiplied and restored? Have you ever thought Joseph's dream took too long to happen and then forgot that it actually happened as the Lord showed him a long time ago?

Prayer of the Week: Pray this week with expectant hearts. Pray this week and give thanks to the Lord for His promises (even if they might take time) will come to pass! Pray this week in a way you have never before! Talk to your loving father in heaven by recognizing He has nothing but the best planned for you (Jeremiah 29:11)!

"But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." 1 Corinthians 15:20

"After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before." 42:10

When the Music Stops...

Hey Friends, I am trying to honour my commitment to make at least one blog post a month, so here goes July. That being said, please know that I am not posting for the sake of posting. I am trying to cultivate an active listening skill when it comes to each topic I share i.e. I will not post until I am convinced I heard from my heavenly daddy. I hope this is one speaks to you. :) When the Music Stops... This marks the first time I talk about my hubby-to-be on this blog. This man is a Gem! He is a true worshipper, a man after God's heart. He also happens to be an anointed worship leader :) I am not saying that because I love him, I promise. The reason I bring him up though is because one of the very many conversations we have had about music is a good illustration to the point I will make later in this post. He mentioned that it is common practice amongst some parents to hide their kids' musical instruments closer to exam seasons in the hopes of helping them focus...
