Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Real Fans

Real Enthusiasm is God based!
Real Enthusiasm is Jesus Based!

Real Fans have the following characteristics
( Take time to ask yourself "am I a real fan of God?" after each point .
Be Honest with yourself!)

1) Real Fans arrive early : They can never be late to a game!
Do you make it to church on time?
Or do you always aim to get there half an hour before service is over?
Are you a real fan?

2) Real fans endure any kind of weather : They will never miss a game because of rain or snow!
Do you let the weather decide whether or not you are going to church?
Or do not care about the weather?
Are you a real fan?

3) Real fans want the best seat in the house :  They want to be as close as they can to where the action is!
Are you a side line Christian?
Or are you a Disciple of Jesus Christ?
Are you a real fan?

4) Real fans never miss a game:  They keep talking about the game before and after it, they can never miss a game!
Is Church the highlight of your week?
Or is it just another place to go on Sunday (if you can make it that is) ?
Are you a real fan?
( Bethel: "Jacob called the place where God had talked with him Bethel."Genesis 35:15 )

5) Real fans memorize stats : They know by heart the different stats players and/or teams have
Do you memorize all or many of the current music that is out there?
Do you know the entire script of a movie you watched a billion times?
Have you tried to memorize bible verses?
Are you a real fan?

6) Real fans pay : They never miss a game because they have to pay for it, they just pay for it!
Do you give tithe?
Do you support missionaries and help the support ministry?
Do you help spread the Gospel?
Do you feel that you should spend your money else where?
Are you a real fan?
(Treasure: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."Matthew 6:21 )

7) Real fans are vocal : They can never stop talking about their favorite team or player
Do you praise God out loud?
Do you speak of His goodness?
Do you feel you are too cool for that??
Are you a real fan?
(Vocal: "For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy." Psalms 47:1 )

Stay Blessed<3

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: Spirit of Python: Teaching Angels to Worship

When you are going to hell/trails and you worship is when you can teach the Angels to Worship :) 1) God is Spirit : the Spirit is looking for people who will worship Him in truth and In spirit. *In Truth: the right truth (Jesus : see John 14:6) * In Spirit: even during trails we need to be in the spirit of Joy, Faith, Hope and Love "God is spirit,  and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 2) God can make something out of nothing : before God spoke the world into motion it was nothing. He took what was nothing made it into something. He also hung it on nothing, there is nothing that holds the universe in place! “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?      Tell me, if you understand." Job 38:4 How and when can we teach worship to the Angels? Angels Vs. Us Angels 1) Angels have never been nor will they ever be under the course of sin 2) They live in a perfect place (Heaven) 3) The fir...

Just Jaded!

I hope you and your loved ones are safe in these crazy times. If any tragedy has come to your home, I pray God's peace and love envelops you right where you are. I pray that you rely on His unending love, mercy, grace, and strength in this time of hardship... I am, like most people, feeling very jaded. I have experienced more highs and lows in such intense frequencies now than any other time I can remember. I believe this is why the Lord has me sharing this... I had planned to write about loving people and what it looks like in different seasons. However, I felt a nudge that I should be sharing about the hope I have despite feeling jaded. To make sure we are on the same page about what I mean when I say jaded, here are two definitions from Merriam Webster's dictionary:  1: fatigued by overwork: EXHAUSTED  2: made dull, apathetic, or cynical by experience or by having or seeing too much of something I can identify with both definitions. In this season, I fin...

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: The Power of Doing More than Expected

Even Jesus went a little farther...He did more than expected! Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39 1) Jacob was working for his unfair father-in-law...and still did more than expected   Genesis 29 Jacob was tricked by his father-in-law Laban. But he never sinned against Laban and he always did more than what was expected from him! 2) Who did Jacob learn it from..doing more than expected? From his mother Rebekah "17  The servant hurried to meet her and said, “Please give me a little water from your jar.” 18  “Drink, my lord,” she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink. 19  After she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have had enough to drink.” 20  So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the we...
