Challenge of the Week!

Hello everyone :) How is it going? Yeah winter is kicking in full force eh...Hang in there peeps :)

Do you ever feel like you have prayers that don't reach God? Do you wonder if they are heard by the almighty creator? If you feel so, why do you think it is? Do you think it's because you don't have enough faith or because God doesn't listen to our prayers?

Challenge of the Week: This week I challenge you and I to believe that God is near. He is closer than our own breath. I challenge us to believe that God truly hears our prayers. I challenge us to recognize that God is a personal God. God delights in His children. Even a human parent takes time to listen to his/her kid wine/cry/report/complain , how much more attentive is God?!?!

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;

he delivers them from all their troubles." Psalms 34:17

"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,

and his ears are open to their prayer

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." 1 Peter 3:12

He is a Better Planner!

I did not mean to take the whole summer off from blogging it just so happen to be that way. Partly due to the numerous things that were changing in my life but more so due to lack of better planning/ time blocking. One of the highlights of my summer was becoming a Mrs. I never knew the weight the pre-fix would carry until I heard someone address me as such. I don't know about you but the Amharic word is, even more, weightier, "ወይዘሮ/weyizero"!. That was one of my life updates. Now that I said that, let's get to the meat and potatoes of my post... I have said before that I am a recovering perfectionist. Today, I stand before you confirming that statement still rings true in my life.
