Challenge of the Week!

Hello everyone how has your Tuesday been? God is always good!! Can I get an AMEN!! How urgent are you about the Gospel? Do you always push things of the kingdom to when you get old? Do you know the bible says only God the father knows the second coming of Christ ( Mark 13:32 )? So because the exact time is unknown, is it not better to always be ready??? Challenge of the Week: This week's Challenges (and every week for the rest of our lives) are from a church service and I decided to share it with you guys because it convicted me. I challenge you and I to pray like the time is near. I challenge you and I to love like Christ is coming back tomorrow. I challenge you and I to serve like we will be seeing our Saviour at the end of the week! I challenge you and I to glorify God like you don't have long before Christ returns with His full glory. "7  The end of all things is near.  Therefore be alert and of sober mind  so that you may pray. 8  Above all, love eac...

Prayer of the Week!

Good evening everyone :) Happy Family day (Peeps in Canada) !!! I had a great day praise God! I hope you did too :) Are you scared of the unknown? Are you scared that you don't know what will happen next? Are you scared because you don't have a plan for tomorrow? Prayer of the Week: God is the one who made yesterday, today and who will make tomorrow, so why not give it up to Him. Pray this week specifically to cast your worries and anxiety of tomorrow on to God. Pray and grant Him access in to your worries of tomorrow so that He becomes the answer, the solution. Pray this week and tell your heart, though I don't have control over tomorrow God does!! If you trust Him with your eternity, then why don't you Trust Him with your Tomorrow?? " Cast   your   burden   on   the  LORD ,  and   He   will sustain   you ;  He will never   allow   the   righteous   to be shaken ." Psalms 55:22 "Come to me, all you who are...

Happy Valentine's day to you!

I think it is only natural to have a blog post about valentine's day, don't you think so?! Well it also a thing or two God thought me throughout the day.  Today after work I was helping a friend set up a surprise for valentine's day! Seriously guys, I think I can start an interior designing business :) Not faltering myself but you would have loved what I did with the place. You would love it, 1) if you are a romantic 2) if you enjoy symmetry of things 3) if you enjoy unique, personalized and creative decorations. As I was working to make this surprise an unforgettable one it hit me how happy I was for my friend. At that moment, I felt as though valentine's day was just for them to celebrate and I didn't really mind. The truth is, I love surprises and I love love love cheesy and romantic things so I would have loved it if someone else was working on how best to surprise me. The reality, I am at home typing out my blog post. Another reality, I don't regret he...

Video of the Week!

My life is an empty cup, fill it up fill it up!Break what needs breaking till You are all we see! Start with me!! "5  In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?   6  He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:   7  ‘The Son of Man  must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’  ”   8  Then they remembered his words." Luke 24:5-8 "10  How then were your eyes opened?” they asked. 11  He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” John 9:10-11 "The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master,  we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked  the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsi...

Challenge of the Week!

How is your Tuesday going so far? Praise God mine is very productive :) I hope yours is productive too :)  Are there people in your life who constantly try your faith? Who push you to say things you don't want to say? People who push you to sin against them and against God? How do you continue to love them and God? How do you show them a better way of living? Challenge of the Week: The Pharisees constantly tried Jesus. They wanted to find fault in Him but they didn't. So they brought a false witness in order to testify against Him. What did Jesus do? He still abided to God's word. He still loved the people who persecuted Him enough to die for them. This week I challenge you to lay down your life for the people around you. Lay down your life for them to see you serve  an amazing God. I challenge you to love them sacrificially. I challenge you to ask God to give you  strength to stand against sin ! I challenge you to live in a way that they can come to bless the lord yo...

Prayer of the Week!

Hello everyone :) How was your Monday? Mine was great praise God! :) Are you like how I used to be, one of those Christians who is always scared of praying out loud? Or praying in groups? Are you scared you might sound childish or not articulate enough? Let me tell you this, the power of prayer is in the being led in the spirit part more than the articulate words. Prayer of the Week: This week pray about being comfortable in group prayer. Pray about being able to voice out your prayers to your father in heaven without the fear of judgment and miss communication. Also pray that you learn to allow the Holy spirit to guide you in time of prayer. Most importantly, learn to pray in groups because God promises to be in our midst when we come together in His name. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 Stay Blessed<3

Video of the Week!

I may not know a lot of Theology but one thing I know is the lord has been good to me...sooooo good:) "I will sing the LORD's praise, for he has been good to me." Psalms 13:6 Stay Blessed<3

Sermon by Jentezen Franklin: The Scarlet Cord

The only thing standing between your family and destruction is Jesus Christ! If we don't invite destruction and filth into our homes then there is no other way of entering, so don't invite filth and destruction in to your homes! Three main points from Scripture found in Joshua 2:12-21 1) Your family can be saved regardless of your background *Rahab was a prostitute Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies  from Shittim.  “Go, look over  the land,” he said, “especially Jericho. ” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab  and stayed there. Joshua 2:1 *Despite her background God saved her and her family and she was in the blood line  of Jesus Christ (See: Matthew 1 ) "5  Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, 6  and Jesse the father of King David." Matthew 1:5-6 2) If your family is to be saved then y...

Challenge of the Week!

Hey everyone :) How is your day going so far? Mine is going great praise God :) :)  If you are like me you struggle with accepting your own weaknesses. If you are like me you try to make up for your weakness by trying super hard to change that about yourself. If you are like me you sometimes neglect that we are saved only my grace not by works! Challenge of the Week: This week I challenge both you and I to accept who we are, imperfect beings. I challenge you and I to come in terms with the fact that we can never be perfect, hence why we need a saviour. I challenge you and I to allow God to show His strengths through our weaknesses. If we don't accept our weaknesses we hinder the glory of God from being shown in our lives! But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 Stay Blessed<3

Prayer of the Week!

Good afternoon everyone :) How was your weekend and how is your day going so far? My weekend was great and my day is going even better praise God! Have you ever thought how it would be if we were to see through God's eyes and hear through His ears? What would it be like to see pain beyond an arrogant and loud person? What would it be like if we were able to see worry and stress behind a huge smile? How much more helpful would we be as His hands and His feet if we knew all these? How much more effective would our jobs as ambassadors of Christ be? Prayer of the Week: This week I urge both you and I to pray about seeing the unseen. Pray for patience to see past someone's mean words. Pray for ears that truly listen not just hear. Pray for a sympathetic heart. Most of all pray that God will use you to uncover someone's deepest pain so that they can start healing from it. "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through u...
